Veteran songwriters Mike Grayson (lead vocals of Mikeschair) and Molly Reed (half of duo City Harbour), now husband and wife, have finally decided to have a go at writing and performing together with the six tracks of 'Walk' being the result. The Americana-tinged title track is currently getting CR airplay. From that gem through to the closer, the experimental, almost EDM, cut "How This Ends" examining the war for our soul, there is not a weak moment anywhere. The excellent "Bloom" would sound good on a Francesca Battistelli or Amy Grant album but is taken to stunning levels here with the interplay of Mike and Molly's vocal lines. "Fight For You" takes a very realistic view of making marriage work with both voices harmonizing over a piano power ballad backing. "Just Can't Get Enough" is a straight pop romp and "Be Revealed" starts quietly building to a pulsating climax. The lyrics pull no punches and the quality production means that this is going to get a lot of airplay.
