The album took over three months for producer/co-artist Steve Smith to complete and was recorded in Melbourne, Australia. The opening song, "Rock De Nation", has a distinctive sound and features solid phrases such as "I'm kicking it for Christ" and "I choose Christ", which should leave the listener in no doubt as to whom the songs are about. Other songs are just pure funk, such as "Nothing But The Funk" and others more rap style, like "Flava". I was slightly disappointed to find that Christian-orientated lyrics are a bit thin on the ground in places and perhaps not as frequent as in other albums, although this is probably due to the street music circles that it is aimed at.
