The second in a series of worship albums, which present some of worship's greatest hits around a theme for meditation, in this case God the Father. The track listing shows 11 tracks but my CD player insists there are 12, music by the likes of Noel Richards, Dave Bilbrough, Graham Kendrick, Kevin Prosch and other well known worship leaders. The tracks are linked by readings taken from The Father Heart Of God by Floyd McClung. At first I was disappointed that the readings were not on the CD itself, merely on the inlay card along with the song lyrics. But on reflection that's the whole idea, passive listening to this album wouldn't have the same impact. For this reviewer it's too easy to be passive and not really involved, but reading the text yourself draws you into worship, encouraging you to meditate on the father heart of God. You could say it's a truly interactive CD. And you have to be interactive because the track order on the CD is slightly different from the readings on the inlay card, which is a pity. A pity too that, yet again, shoddy packaging omits to list the artists performing the tracks.
