For that difficult second album, Aberdeen-based worship artist Eloho Efemuai has secured the sizeable production skills of fellow Nigerian Akinwunmi Oluniyi Akiremi - stage name Florocka - who has also written most of the material on what is an accomplished follow up to Eloho's 2014 debut 'Arise'. Thanks to Florocka's input, this really feels like a step forward artistically for Eloho - a singer whose strong vocals and determination to communicate the love of Jesus shine through at every turn - and this release certainly feels more polished than its predecessor whilst maintaining the same sense of spontaneity. Eloho's default style of upbeat, African-tinged gospel is kept intact with tracks like "Mighty God" standing out whilst a sublime dance track "He's Alive" proves that she is able to stride between genres with ease. Nice touches such as some loud and proud lead guitar in "To Our God" and a muted trumpet in "He'll Do It Again" - the latter featuring a great vocal performance from Florocka himself - are the cherry on the top whilst a number of guest appearances by friends and family are included for good measure. Only a workmanlike version of the old Richard Heber hymn "Holy Holy Holy" fails to satisfy but this is still a highly impressive set.
