I remember Alice Thomas. She was an amazing pianist. I loves her playing and tried to mimic some of style. Praise The Lord for her music ministry.

Hello I grew up listening to her music and my favorite is Naaman the Leopard, I can't sing a lick but put that song on and you can't tell me nothing, my cousin sang this song all the time and he has since passed and I would just love to hear it one more time so if anyone knows where I can purchase the album please let me know. I prefer vinyl to cds, it just sounds better

I grew up listening to the Blendwright
trio. I have been searching everywhere for their music.
It would enrich my christian experience, if someone could let me know where I can purchase THE COLLECTION OF MUSIC.
Thanks!

I grew up near Dayton Ohio in the 1970's, a little white boy from the Far Hills SDA church back in the day. Our family often visited the neighboring Germantown SDA Church Bro and Sister Wright planted. I loved the Blendwright music as a chbild and still love it today. Last year my sister went to the Wright family reunion in Germantown and purchased a set of CD's and gave me a copy also. I listen to them often, and sometimes attempt to transcribe the lyrics, but some of the vocals on the old albums are really hard to make out. This evening I was working on "These are the Hands" and just could not figure out what came after - "a hundred oceans roar" It would be great if you could add to your web site the lyrics to some of their music.
Thanks

I also grew up in the Far Hills SDA church. My mother and sister also loved the Germantown church. Eleanore agreed to sing at my mother's funeral, but she died before my mother did. What a blessing to find the Eleanore Wright music website. I plan on ordering the music available. The site is very informative. Please feel free to e-mail me. I would love to hear from you!

I was just browsing looking for some of the Blendwright music. I'm sure you have gotten your answer, since you posted over a year ago. But in case you didn't, I believe the lyrics you want are: "...These are the hands that take a ray of light, paint a jagged picture in the gallery of night. Then charge it with the fury of a hundred ocean's roar, as the gates of heaven open, and the fountains there spill o'er..." Be blessed.

thank GOD I found U. I heard the Blendwrights when i was a little girl visiting a tent meeting back in the early 60's. I heard Eleanor Wright give her testimony and concert while in college. What a blessing her music and trust in God was to me, I always wished I could write and perform like her. Still do. Her words are so inspiring to help U keep keeping on God bless the memory of her and God bless you for the work you're doing to keep her music inspiring us.
