Dino calls this his "project of a lifetime" and certainly you could do worse than be remembered by a work such as this! Dino is a consummate artists of the grand piano and the piano is the real star of this album, rippling, crashing and singing through a series of emotional musical pictures of the Bible miracles. Beginning with creation, through the Exodus, the wedding at Cana etc, to the great miracle - salvation! The technical standard of the recording is excellent and shows off the stunning resources used: a full concert orchestra, a choir, soloists and, of course, Dino's piano. There are many strong tunes and the effect is of completely over the top splendour and majesty (but then I suppose God's splendour and majesty is pretty over the top!) contrasted by occasional lyrical and humorous moments. These are modern tone poems with specific image painting. The sleeve notes are helpful and enable you to see exactly what is being portrayed moment by moment. Being so visual, this music would make a wonderful sound track for film, or indeed for dance and drama and could be used as a worship aid in homes and churches.
