Thank you for all your songs. God has given Dave Bryant a unique beautiful gift that touches our hearts. It lifts us before God with joy and laughter. THANK AGAIN.
Can I buy a few cds as friends love to permanently borrow that CD. Please.

Just like John Mainwaring I was given the CD by an elder (same Church) went to the Falklands 1985 for 4 months With the RAF. Played this tape over and over again. The down to earth truth in the lyrics kept me going through the 4 months and beyond. I have been searching for ages in search of a cd version as the tape is worn out. So blessed to find this today and order the cd version.

Ahhh, Dave Bryant... Not to be confused with the Crown Green Bowls champion. Christian singer/songwriter extrordinaire. One of our church leaders gave this to me on cassette in the mid-eighties when I were a wee teenager. It got played until it was nearly worn out by my (now) wife and I. I'm guessing it's being given a lot of 10/10 (indispensible), because at the time that it came out, it really was ground breaking and liberating. The songs and sentiment took a lot of the tension out of what being a charismatic Christian used to be. Humorous, melodic and chilled (before chilled was something you could be), it's a 'homely' recording at some gig way back when and is interspersed with wry comments from the Bryant himself. Some great lines in there to describe Jesus "You were so real, and nothing like, the God I knew back there," describing Bryant's realisation that God is not the headmaster in the sky, but infinitely the greater in love, grace and mercy. I have no doubt that it served a purpose when it came out, in moving people forward to a more rounded approach to life, the universe and everything. It is fondly regarded by the people it meant a lot to at the time and strangely, out of the blue I woke up this morning with one of the tracks in my mind. It's good to see it on CD as it has been out of press for a long time as far as I'm aware. I'm going to by a copy as the melodies are rich and comforting. I can recommend this one without hesitation.

Come on Dave! We are all waiting for the CD version of naturally supernatural. My original tape has worn out and I long to buy a stack for presents as they are one of the finest spiritual gift I can give.
Thanks, youre alright mate,

Heard this in 1984 and it continues to speak to me today. I was so impressed I wrote to Dave Bryant and he graciously replied. He revealed that his sings came out of a period of seven years in the wilderness. He is continually astounded by people (like me) who write to him expressing their identification with his songs. I myself had just come through five years of utter darkness in the wilderness. It was balm to my soul to hear Daves experience thru his songs. Deep calls unto deep! The style may be a bit dated now but the words and message are timeless. It's a must buy for anyone who has experienced the desert.

In my estimation, Dave Bryant is probably the best worship song writer I know. Recorded back in the 80's their unpolished charm only adds to their appeal. The truths they express, though way ahead of their time are only just starting to be discovered by believers today. The finished work of Christ, God's unconditional acceptance, Jesus living in us as us.
The melodies themselves also express something of the passion, humour and tenderness of our loving God. Can't recommend both of his albums enough!
