From the laid back groove of opening tack "Well Alright" you know that you are in store for something that is classy, chic and cool. The wonderfully reliable delivery of CeCe is silky smooth with a voice that is crystal clear hitting the mark to spine tingling effect and matching the professionalism of comparative artists such as Whitney Houston. The title track is a perfect example of this artist's ability to have the confidence to improvise and charm the listener with each perfect note. The excellent production boasts a team of four including Charlie Lico, Cece Winans, Bernie Leadon and Ruth Carson and is of the highest value with a professionalism expected from some seasoned veterans within this genre of music. For the most part the album purrs at a mellow pace with obvious soul, funk and gospel tones seducing the listener. From the acoustic, finger clicking infectious "I Am" to the ethnic gospel of "Feel the Spirit" and the beautifully played "The Wind" the album has an elegance and a sensitivity that is brilliantly heartfelt. Although this reviewer has a weakness for expertly managed soul, this is still an album that signifies real class.
