Over 63 minutes’ worth of self-penned power praise music from this California-based outfit, who have crafted some worshipful material, albeit a tad lengthy at times, some of the tracks check in at over seven minutes. Nevertheless, the song lyrics in the sleevenotes reveal few banalities, and vocally and instrumentally these guys and gals can certainly cut it, especially Aaron Hovivian, who belts out "Be Magnified", the closing track, with some soulful harmony wailing from Amie Chiavelli and Nicole Meline. Whilst Hillsongs might have cornered the power praise market back in the 1990s, it’s good to see others throwing their hats into the ring and staking a claim for a piece of the action. Whilst this isn’t truly groundbreaking musically, it’s perfectly acceptable, and there’s no doubting the God-centredness of these songs. Worth investigating.
