Second outing from Mytholmroyd's finest (Yer what? Ed) and this time it's not four but 10 tracks. And they seem to have found their niche here. Blessed Rain provides an easy listening/Van Morrison feel and they're equally at home with either Jean or Phil or both on lead vocals. Jean's "A Broader Mind" has a lovely tune, but most distinctive is the understated, brainwash-style-beat of "Heartbroken Island" - worth a single release when they've got the production quality tightened up. Aside from at times a slightly over-mixed bass this is further proof that the North can provide talented pop/roots bands.
