This is a 70 minutes plus live recording of songs from the annual Antioch Live event in Dallas, Texas featuring worship leaders James Mark Gulley, Stephen Gulley, Johanna Six and Clare Berlinsky. The overall style is rock oriented but has bursts of violin, cello and even glockenspiel. The opener "Come" is a lively and engaging song which has the crowd rocking and the slower "Wonderful Counselor" and "I Will Raise" both have an emotional and engaging chorus. "Savior Forever" is a simple piano and percussion based song which evokes a worshipful atmosphere including a four minute haunting and captivating musical response "..Selah". In fact, three of the songs have musical and congregational responses to them which have been left in the album and convey the atmosphere of the event. Having said all this, there are still too many songs here which sound formulaic. That's a shame because with more consistency of material and invention in the arrangements this could have been a truly fine album.
