When I first heard the initial single from this project, "Fade Away", I was taken with its undulating synth and bass riff and its anthemic chorus and it still sounds good here. The Swedish songsmith has a winning way with '80s sounding synth pop while the second track, "My Everything", introduces plenty of burbles and synths, plus some rhythmic abrasions on guitar. The opener "Destiny" is decidedly worshipful ("Cover me with your grace and mercy") while the reflective "Fool's Paradise" is a wistful song about being invaded by doubt. Throughout Andreas' voice is warm and engaging and demonstrates why he has been a much used session singer in his homeland. You could suggest that there is nothing here that is truly groundbreaking but such is the deft execution of this music that it wins through. If 'Destiny' gets radio support it will do well.
