Originally from Slovenia, Alexia Biziak speaks six languages but doesn't choose to sing in English. She did try apparently! But it didn't work out so what you get are a selection of songs sung in Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. What you actually get is something that could be described as Latin light, not the thumping R&B Latin music that invades the charts but a poppier version that sits somewhere between Enrico and Eurovision! It's actually a little too Eurovision for its own good so you can picture Terry Wogan waxing sardonic about "The Wind Of Summer" or "I've Seen You Crying". Clearly Christian in message and Alexia is blessed with a pleasant voice but its cheap production and my lack of Portuguese has meant that it's left me cold when I wanted it to make me feel hot, hot, hot.
