Alexandria has a pretty complicated background. She has Puerta Rican roots, was born in Germany and grew up in Pennsylvania. This album is her debut and has been released in both English and Spanish language versions and the fact that it was produced by two time Grammy Award winner Glenn Tabor III shows that Dream Records have considerable confidence in her talent. Some of the tracks here are reminiscent of current mainstream country artists. There is no questioning the passion and melodic beauty of songs like "Prince Of Peace" and "Breathe", which exhorts us to remember that God is with us particularly in adversity. Alexandria's vocals are gorgeously beautiful and both "I Can Feel" and "Shaken" have made it to the Cross Rhythms playlist. If you're looking for an album which pushes worship music into adventurous new territory, 'Amazed' isn't for you. But if you connect with expertly produced and deftly sung worship songs you need to investigate this album.
