As the name suggests, and the liner notes boast, "All sounds (are) vocally or anatomically produced." This four-piece vocal group have been on the US Inspirational scene for 20 years (with different line-ups). Here the group re-arrange some golden oldies from Stateside hymnals, in a follow up collection to 'Hymns For All The World'. In an impressive variety of styles ranging from jazz and Dixieland to R&B and trad gospel, 12 hymns politely come and go with quality and professionalism. Only "Great Is Thy Faithfulness" and "In The Sweet By And By" will be well known to us Brits but titles such as "There Is A Habitation" leave you in no doubt as to what's on offer. I would imagine, however, that this CD will be greatly appreciated by its intended audience, namely traditional North American church-goers seeking a new take on old favourites. All well and good; no complaints from me.
