The Question
Here at Cross Rhythms, we're passionate about 'raising up broadcast sons and daughters as numerous as the stars in the sky'. Never before in history has there been so many broadcast outlets so readily available for young people to utilize. YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and other social media provide a platform for us to communicate whatever we want to the world. But the question is... what are we communicating?
The Dream
What if young people all over the world began to make a noise that counts for eternity? What if their prayers were set to music, then broadcast on the radio? What if their testimonies were recorded, edited and packaged at radio quality, then given back to them so they could post it onto their facebook page? Imagine what their status comments might be like. What if they gave a spoken invitation to visit their church or youth group, then tweeted a link? And finally, what if all the 'hard work' was done for them?
This is MYvoice
Our vision is to educate, engage and enable young people to make their voices heard through social media. This happens primarily by recording their faith stories (both successes and struggles) and packaging these testimonies as one-minute sound-bytes at radio quality. We call them 'podblasts', complete with music beds, stings, professional voice overs - the lot. Once we've polished them, we'll give the podblast back to the young person, ready for immediate upload.
All the podblasts will go up here on the MYvoice website as well, so that anyone can download the message for use in their youth groups or meetings and get it out to their networks, literally anywhere in the world! In addition, many of the podblasts will feature in our MYvoice radio show on Cross Rhythms, hosted by Chip Kendall.

Everyone can identify with certain characters more than others, but nevertheless these are the people God chose to tell his story (history) through, and we can all benefit from using our voices to spread the Word.

Don't forget to attach a headshot photo of yourself to go next to your name.
Cross Rhythms will then make your recording into a professional-sounding 'podblast' ready for you to share with your friends, and for us to use on the Cross Rhythms website and the MYvoice radio show.

Making the most of your podblast
Once you’ve downloaded your finished podblast, share it with the world! Don’t be shy. Remember, your voice carries with it a unique anointing and assignment to make a difference in the lives of all who hear it.
Here are some tips for making the most of your podblast:
- Share it on all your social network sites… Facebook, Twitter, etc.
- Pray that God uses your podblast to impact your friends
- Invite people to share their comments and honest opinions
- Use your podblast as an online conversation starter to share your faith
- And finally, don’t forget to feedback all of your stories to us here at Cross Rhythms. We want to encourage everyone else that what happened for you can happen for them!
