In an interveiw with Mel Gibson, he has been quoted as saying the following- Theres a friend of mine. She's an evangelical pastor. She just said to me, How many screens do you want? And I won't tell you how many but I gave her a number and she said, Okay. And she just went for it. So it will be interesting to see if we hit the mark. We'll know if she gets heard anyway. It's pushing this week to 3,500. For years, my best friends were actually evangelicals, many in the business and many in professional ways. I love them. I think they really know the book. The Scriptures are the Scriptures - I mean they're unchangeable, although many people try to change them. And I think that my first duty is to be as faithful as possible in telling the story so that it doesn't contradict the Scriptures. Now so long as the film didn't do that, I felt that I had a pretty wide berth for artistic interpretation, and to fill in some of the spaces with logic, with imagination, with various other readings.

Well-known singer and actor Pat Boone has been quoted as saying- We went to Sunday morning service, Sunday night and Wednesday night. Plus we had Bible reading and prayer and devotionals at home. Even though it got tiring at times, we realised that church was as important to our parents as eating, sleeping or anything else. When I was 13, I confessed Jesus Christ as my Saviour and was baptised in water. I remember many, many times on my knees, looking out of the window of that attic into the side yard and up the street and asking the Lord to use my life, to use me. I needed to invite the Lord to fill me and inhabit me, and to give me the power, not only to do his will, but to want to do it. When my wife, Shirley, and I were both in our mid-30's we received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. It changed our lives, even though it cost us continued fellowship with the church I had been raised in. Once I had been filled with the Spirit, I discovered I don't have to be one person when I'm with showbiz people, somebody else at church, somebody else in the business world and so on. I can be the same person all the time. And I am not going to be ashamed of the Gospel. I want to be like Jesus, who is willing to seek out people and take time with them, while never losing sight of who he is. He was never embarrassed about associating with them because he came to save them. We think we're so pure, like the Pharisees, and don't want to have anything to do with the publican and the sinner. Yet Jesus would go right into their homes and sit down and say, Whats for dinner.

Sir Cliff Richard said. The Bible says there is no point in saying to people to be warm, you have to give them your jacket. You should give either 10 per cent of your time or your finances. It's in the Bible.

The things famous people have said - Stacie Orrico has been quoted in saying the following- I want to be an artist who stands up for what I believe. So why shouldn't I say, I'm a Christian and I'm crazy about my God and I'm not changing that. I don't want to only sing to Christians. I want to reach outside of that. I'm passionate about reaching people. I couldn't care less about the money, I just want to reach people my age with truth - with something they can understand and in a way they can understand and in a form that is interesting to them. Jesus didn't just hang out in churches all day. He went out to the drunk men and the prostitutes and the liars and the robbers. Those were the people He spent his time with and I feel like God's given me the heart for that.

In her book, Britney Spear's Heart to Heart, she revealed a deep Christian faith, telling how she kept a prayer journal, and prayed every night. I find a lot of comfort and strength in knowing I can talk to God and he is listening.

Do you want to buy a left-back or help to save children's lives? I'm not going to do both. Are people dying as a result of Port Vale's troubles? No. Get people to go down to the Donna Louise Trust, go into that hospice and have a look at the kids - that's where my money is going.

'Faith by itself if it is not accomplished by action, is dead'. My belief in God has always stayed strong.Everyone struggles, but Im just glad that God isnt someone who turns his back on us, even when sometimes we turn our back on him. He's always there.Whatever happens God is there with his arms open. It's like being a bank manager, and telling people that they dont need an over draught, because their depts are already paid on the cross! True happiness comes from knowing God. God is already moving powerfully in the media, with more people becoming christians, especially in places of power'.
