Delirious? to release sixth album
THE SIXTH studio album by Britain's Delirious? is set for UK release on 15th December. The album, produced by the band with Julian Kindred (Sonicflood) and mixed by Sam Gibson (Pearl Jam), follows the pioneering Internet release of two of the songs from the project. The song "Majesty (Here I Am)" in its finished mixed version is available as a free MP3 download from www.delirious.co.uk and http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/284/delirious1.html as has another song from 'World Service'. "The purpose in making two tracks from the brand new album available as free downloads is twofold," said Furious? Records' Jonathan Brown. "Our aim is to service the Church with some great songs and also to affect the MP3 charts globally." "Majesty" was performed by Delirious? to much acclaim in Anaheim, California in August when the band played the song against a back projection of footage from the forthcoming Mel Gibson movie on the crucifixion of Christ, The Passion.
Delirious? will be playing four concerts at The Underworld, Camden, London, on 17th to 20th December.
