Grammy winning singer/songwriter John Michael Talbot returns with 'The Inner Room'

THE FRANCISCAN Friar and Grammy-winning singer/songwriter John Michael Talbot has returned to the music scene after a lengthy stay away. Talbot's 'The Inner Room' is issued on his own Troubadour For The Lord label, distributed by Capitol Christian Music Group. Said Talbot, "The heart of the project is Jesus' Sermon On The Mount - the teaching core of the New Testament where Jesus shows that his way is quite different from the way of the world. I also used some of my favourite Psalms and one devotional text from a traditional prayer, the Act of Contrition. The songs take us on a journey beginning with the Sermon On The Mount, to Calvary and the empty tomb, to the House of God. Though the name of Jesus is only mentioned once, he is present everywhere."
