POP GOSPEL stars dc Talk have filmed their first video from the 'Supernatural' album. The video for the song 'My Friend (So Long)'takes a tongue-in-cheek look at the perils of fame, with a vacant mental hospital in Nashville providing the setting. Pictured at the shoot are Kevin Maxe, Toby McKeehan, Tryan George (director) and Michael Tait.
The triple CD 'Street Wise' was released by K-Tel Records on October 26th. Virgin Records are giving it front window displays, Pete Tong is featuring it heavily and the music weeklies have given editorial support. There was a launch party for the album at London's Ministry Of Sound. The album sells for around £15.00 with around £4.50 on each sale going to the charity Action For Children organised by the national Children's Home. Said Felix McClare of Redland Studios, one of the co-ordinators of the project, 'NCH started off as a Christian charity 130 years ago, though it's gone secular since of course. A project like this is a great opportunity for Christians to demonstrate they can be salt and light to a needy world. It's really bringing Christ into the market place.'
