Debut album for Belfast's Bluetree hits in America
FOR THE first time ever a debut album by a British, exclusively
Christian act has made the mainstream American album charts. 'God Of
This City' (titled in the UK 'Greater Things') by Belfast-based Bluetree entered
Billboard's Top 200 album chart at number 125. The album, released in
the US on Lucid Artist, has also hit number one on the Christian
Retail and Praise And Worship charts. The title track of 'God Of This
City' was brought to American attention when used in the Passion
events and covered by Chris Tomlin on his successful 'Hello Love'
album.
