The brand new album by Australian rockers the Newsboys 'LOVE LIBERTY Disco' was

LAUNCHED in New York in November at the Statue Of Liberty. Despite the title, the album is not a disco record though there's "definitely a lot of disco elements," according to the band's Jeff Frankenstein. "The title talks about the lyrical themes of the record: the way God loves us, the way he sees us compared to the way we see each other and the liberty we have in Christ. I think the songs ore way more mature, lyrically and musically, than our last record. The sound of the new record may not be what fans are expecting. The last record was very programmed. We just went for good tones on this one. If s got almost an oldies, late '60s production, lots of strings, harmonies, vocals."
