Ishmael in hospital with acute myeloid leukaemia

BRITISH Christian rock and children's ministry pioneer Ishmael has been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia. The singer/songwriter is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment. Wrote his wife Irene, "Thankfully now we know it is a type of cancer that can be treated so that is an answer to prayer." Updates on Ishmael's progress will be posted on his website www.ishmael.org.uk. CR

I was so sorry to hear about Ishamel. I used to love listening to his music when I was little, and I would just play it over and over again. My mum was diagnosed at the same time, with the same thing four years ago, and praise God she is well again, and in remission. We will pray for Ish, and we know that God will help him through this time. Amen
