Worship man Chris Tomlin awarded two Gold albums

GRAMMY winner and multi-Platinum recording artist Chris Tomlin has been awarded two RIAA Gold certifications; one for his 2010 album 'And If Our God Is For Us.' and another for his 2009 Christmas album 'Glory In The Highest: Christmas Songs Of Worship'. The RIAA Gold certifications aren't the only accolades for Tomlin this year. The worship leader gained a No 1 Billboard debut for his album 'Burning Lights' which saw the biggest first-week sales numbers of Tomlin's career and which was the fourth time in history that a Christian music album has accomplished this feat. Also, Tomlin's Burning Lights Tour of the USA was his most successful of his 13 year career with a 53 per cent increase in average show attendance and selling out 25 shows in cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Houston and Chicago.
