Transglobal dance group Secret Archives Of The Vatican release free single.

CROYDON-based transglobal drum 'n' bass ethnic trip-hop group Secret Archives Of The Vatican have recorded a two-song single, "Fear Of A Black Jesus" which they have been giving away at recent concerts. The single is a withering is a withering denouncement of the American political system.

I too have the disk! And love it. My 13 yr old son is a new Archives fan. Will not I repeat not be playing it in worship anytime soon, but there is hope. I also have the new TalkingDog cd, Militant and Triumphant. Good stuff from a Vatican member.

I wrote 'Fear of a Black Jesus'....
it's more about how the religious right is selling a false picture of Jesus to the world and that he was, in fact, from the middle-east and perhaps we should look there to understand his teachings better. We should find Him in the refugees and the downtrodden and oppressed rather than in huge commercial empires being built "in his name" in America. And that killing people in the name of Christ is wrong.
