Conservative attitudes to church dress critiqued on Lecrae song
GRAMMY nominated rapper Lecrae has encountered controversy with his free mixtape 'Church Clothes', hosted by DJ Don Cannon and featuring No Malice (formerly Malice of The Clipse) and production from 9th Wonder, Bio 1-Da, S1 (Kanye, Beyonce) and Street Symphony (Ludacris, Gucci Mane). The title track to the project is causing a stir in the Church community. Said the rapper, "In the song 'Church Clothes' I was actually speaking from the perspective of a person who sees all the hypocrisy in church. Many people have seen the hypocrisy and inconsistencies that have helped push them away from the church and God all together." Lecrae pinpoints the reality that people have been hurt by churches who have told them that if they don't dress 'appropriately' then they aren't welcome. In the song Lecrae points out that such attitudes should have no place in a loving and grace-based church.

I strongly believe in the artical that pin points the majority of the saved ones usually rebuke people who do not wear the "church clothes"..
I live with conservative strict Christians who should I say are hypocrites...who don't like people who aren't alike..
