Centricity Music's Peabod releases new single and completes EP

Backpack

SEATTLE-BASED hip-hop artist Peabod releases "Backpack", the last single in a series of tracks that make up his new EP 'Backpack', featuring fellow CCM artist Marty from Social Club Misfits. The five-track EP also includes "Anti-social", "Side Hustle", "Hoodie" and "Left Out", the latter of which features another CCM artist Chad Mattson from Unspoken. Peabod said, "The 'Backpack' EP was such a fun and important step for me. When I made [debut album] 'Healthy Snacks', it was purely for my own enjoyment. I didn't really have a goal in mind, and I hadn't spent any time thinking critically about who I'd like to be as a hip-hop artist. Recording the singles that came together as 'Backpack' was my opportunity to experiment, ask questions, and then define my sound. I had a blast working on these songs, so I hope that comes through to anyone listening." CR
