Trace Taylor has more strings to her bow than the entire British archery team and in the weeks leading up to Christmas 2025 she has demonstrated human dynamo creative energy. She has been in the studio in Birmingham recording a single with producer Joel Hart and tracks in Stoke-on-Trent with Sony Award Producer Shaun Lowe. She has played a pub gig with her occasional covers band Trace Taylor & The Resonators. She's squeezed in some sessions as a vocal coach to beginner singers. She has overseen the publication of a revised edition of her book From Nothing: Ex Nihilo (available on Amazon). Oh, and she's become a reverend since I last spoke to Trace in 2019. As well as being an associate and worship pastor at Rehoboth Christian Fellowship (formerly known as St John's) in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, she also overseas an emerging church plant in Congleton, Cheshire called Hope Valley Healing.

Trace has worked in a wide range of musical styles ranging from dance music to what one critic once described as "Christian goth." Yet it is the prophetic concept albums 'Yeshua Tree' and 'Yeshua Tree 2' which have been pivotal in bringing this singer's gifts into their clearest focus. She explained Yeshua Tree's origins. "It was in 2022 that I found myself drawn to the blessing found in Numbers 6:24-26 in the Hebraic spoken form. I listened to Messianic worship leader Paul Wilbur sing his rendition of it and I was inspired to learn it, knowing the meaning of the words hold so much more depth and richness than English could ever translate.

"In March 2023, I went out to Israel with American Christian media company Skywatch TV on a package tour. I told the Lord before I went out that it would be a dream to sing the blessing in Hebrew over Jerusalem... Well, he gave me the opportunity! I got talking to our Jewish hosts and when they learnt I could speak (and sing) the blessing in Hebrew, they spoke to the Skywatch leaders and between them arranged that I sing it, on camera, from the Mount of Olives facing Jerusalem's East Gate! I was so deeply touched God arranged this for me. It was a profound moment.

"Then, one day around January 2024, I was sat in my music room. A new melody to the Hebraic priestly blessing started coming out of my mouth; a new melody released from my Heavenly Father that was to find its fullness of sound in 2025.

"With 'The Priestly Blessing' underway, throughout the rest of 2024 I continued to work on 'The Yeshua Tree Vol 3', the third and final in the series, in conjunction with more new songs I found emerging during my personal devotional/jam times...a sound of worship with a middle eastern and Jewish flavour. I know it will help all of Yahweh's children go deeper into His essence and presence, too. An important sidenote, some years ago the Holy Spirit brought to my attention a new pitch to tune my instruments to. I was desperately wanting to transcend deeper into my personal (and corporate) worship times and step into a new experience. The Holy Spirit brought to my attention 444hz, based on Isaiah 22:22, 'The Key of David', amongst other heavenly tones, through a man named Michael Tyrrell (now gone to glory). I felt drawn to play and sing in 444hz, turning aside from the standard westernised tuning of 440hz. There is significance to 'The Priestly Blessing' being recorded in 444hz.

"Around March 2025, I had an experience in the night. I saw the numbers 444 in my mind and aroused into a semi-wakened state. I felt the Holy Spirit and the presence of an angel. Something was happening in me which I felt my spirit responding to. When I awoke, I marvelled at what occurred during the night. I knew that the Lord had sent an angel to calibrate me to 444hz - aka the Key of David!

"As I have begun discussing with others the biblical concept of the Key of David, I am humbled to realise what my experience signifies. It is more than a sound; it is a heart condition before the Lord of Hosts, the one true God. I am kind of lost for words at what the Lord has seen fit to call me to, from before the foundation of the world. It is a most significant blessing and calling and renders me with a sense of awe, humility and esteem. We all have a destiny. This is part of mine, and I am deeply touched and honoured."

"The Priestly Blessing" was released as a single in April 2025. The 'The Yeshua Tree 3' album will be released in March 2026. CR
