I have been listening to "The Word Became Flesh" on my favorite stations for the last couple of months.
What a touching song! I understand it has gone way up the charts in Southern Gospel.
It took me a while to find anything on the internet about this group.
I love them. Absolutely love the vibe! Yes, they are "childlike," but I think you fail to understand that that is the way Christ wants us to be.
Reviewer, you miss the boat on this one. Send this anointed group to Alabama. I assure you there are thousand awaiting their so-called "childessness."

Well, I have the CD and love the music! And if, to quote the reviewer, "...[it] is musically weak, almost childlike..." then I want to hear more from Vitamin F!
It says in Matthew 18:3 "And he said: I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven."
And in Matthew 19:14 Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

Did the reviewer Mr Privett actually listen to the CD in the context it was written? The later recording of 'nothing....' blows any current Christian music out of the water, what a wake up call!!
An attack on a persons Christian ethic without walking a mile in their shoes is simply not on, who are we to judge, who is Mr Privett to judge?
The lyrics are so strong in Christian understanding and the music a wonderful vehicle.
Write on boys!! More from VF soon please.

I think the songs written and performed by Vitamin F are very appealing. The album has it's own unique style and is very different to the traditional christian music that is normally played. I think you should applaud their style of worship rather than pick at their "childlike" ways!
I have also read they have reached number 1 in the southern american gospel charts. So congrats to Vit F! Keep going guys!!!

What does Vitamin F mean? Their music is superior. What a fresh sound, just what I've been listening for. The Word song is my favorite. I'll keep the radio tuned in for some more!
