I was blessed to have Carol and Hilary and their baby girl+ their Nanny stay with us for a few days back in 1998, I remember my daughter contracted chicken pox and we were worried that the baby would catch it and take it all over Europe lol!!! Blessings.from Scotland!! i would love to contact Carole if that is possible! Love Mary and George Mclean.

hi

some time in 2000 i stumbled upon one of the vine song albums that has songs like:

1. when it hurt so bad
2. Jesus o i saw Jesus
3. i know my God is able
4. let your living water flow

and a whole lot others. but i dont know the title of the album.

those songs truly blessed my soul. and i agree with Michael in ghana that's one of the best tracks ever recorded this side of eternity.

saddest part is a friend got it lost just some 2 years after i purchased it ie in 2002.

ever since then i havent been able to replace it because i cant even find it in any christian bookshop i've checked.

ps can somebody help me out?what's the title of the album and how can i get the complete collection?

Yeah! i am with you on this too.
The Album is titled: Revelation chapter One

(i think so... yeah, i am sure)
I had it a long time in the Tape format. one if the songs there is from Revelation chapter 1 - "7 stars in His right hand; a sword in His mouth; He's on clouded brilliance; His face shone like the sun; His feet clean like bronze,......." I really miss it.

Oh! you do not know what comes over me when I listen to vine songs. So uplifting, so spiritual, so rich in the word, I mean, it's awesome.... tears just flow from my eyes when i listen to the music. especially "peace like a river and one that says, "Jesus, o i saw Jesus and he said don't be afraid, he said I am the first and the last..." Powerful! I just love the vine songs, they are like the hymnals they are so enriching. You feel next to God. Bless you and keep the fire burning!

I do not agree with Richard's assessment of Vinesong's worship. Neither, I might add, does the Holy Spirit! I have seen the fire fall as they worship, and they inspire Christians to reach further into God. They are God-centred songs, not like so many "me" centred stuff around today. God bless Vinesong, I say.

Does anyone have the original Vinesong cassettes/tapes from the 1980's. The delivery of the music was different then because of the use of th eletric guitar and it had different singers. I really enjoyed a cassette I had but lost. I would gladly pay for a replacement.

How can you call the music twee and vacuous when so many of their songs are simply scripture? Are you implying that scripture is twee and vacuous? And as you said, many have been touched by the so-calles "nursery rhymes" as you call them. You are judging their music by the world's standards and fnot by God's.
