Hey, it's like re-union time. I worked with John for many years on many projects, including playing drums on most of his productions, (like the Parchment albums), including both Empty Handed and Nothing is Impossible. Given that John appears to have a new Kingsway album out in the summer, shouldn't we all lobby the company to produce a proper re-relaeas of these two albums? After all, John Pac granted his own Parchment a TRIPLE CD retrospective!

Hey everyone, Iv'e never been on this site before, but googled John in a spare moment and found all this! I never realised he was so popular! I have been married to John Pantry's eldest daughter, Joanne, for 20 years and he is coming to my house this Sunday 12/2 for dinner so I am going to ask him about some of your questions and will post his responses. P.S Empty handed has always been my favourite too!!!

I would so like to get a hold of a CD of Nothing is Impossible the album by John Pantry - it is amazing, but unfortunately out of print. It is early 1980. If anyone out there has a copy, please contact me.
Trish.

Eric

Hi Alan,
you mention Roly Bell in your comment.
Great to hear he still gives music away.
Do you know how I could get hold of an album (online?) that he made, maybe in the late 70's/early 80's?? - it had a track on 'Does He Know Your Name' as well as others that I would love to hear again.
I met him when he lived in Edgbaston near the old B.B.I. site.

Hi Marion,
I stumbled across your post on here the other day when I was doing some searches on-line..
Roly is my dad, I don't know if I have any copies of does he know your name but I'm sure he will. If you want to drop me an e-mail at subaru_002@hotmail.com I can put you in touch with him :)

Just had a look at e-bay. It's available there.
(Hi, by the way. I've not been here before. I'm looking for the lyrics to Hot Coals, the verse that goes "When your biorhythms say...." Anyone fill the gaps for me?)

wow! am I glad I found you folks on here!! and searching for the same record - Empty Handed by John Pantry!!!! I have searched everywhere..........no one has it!! Found some info on here and they dont have it!!! ohhhhhhhhhhhh! gotta get my hands on it!! John P's songs have never left my thoughts......I rehearse them everyday - they fill me with awe and I can feel Jesus arms around me!! My mother bought his recordings in the 80's from sparrow recordings, and somehow lost them. I was so sad. Can I get a copy on CD from anyone??? Looking forward to any replies!!

A sister in Christ,
Christine

Ive always felt the same as Lorna , it is really a beautiful song. Iheard it in 1979 at a friends house and ive tried all record shops over the years with no luck, but with these contacts i might be getting lucky. Dave
