I agree with one of the contributors above. What has the Devil got to do with the one that has already fallen? I had never fallen in love with any music as I have for Driscoll's. What I believe matters is for him to genuinely repent of the sin (because it is a sin and God teaches us to give what is Ceasar's unto Ceasar) and move on. He's a great ministry gift to this generation. 'The Magnificat' is one song that never fails to bring tears to my face. It covers you in glory and...well, just cant explain the feeling. Bro Martin Boyd, pls God has given us everything richly to enjoy. Jesus became poor so that we might become rich and a lot like these in the Gospel. Bro, for an African like me to be able to use this medium to express my love for Driscoll means money is good. We are not talking about worshipping money here but for one thing, the gospel wont be able to go far if you and I walk about in torn trousers and bathroom slippers. Remain blessed.

I love you dearly, you always encourage me to worship God in the spirit. I watched you again on Daystar TV (West Coast Believers' Convention). Don't ever give up.

I had the pleasure of hearing Phil live in Milwaukee this summer, he is truly a gifted man. I don't know much about his legal battles, but he is on fire for God. Phil's music is one of very few that have ever caused me to understand what we will hear for eternity, when we are called.

Devil never chases his own. He goes after those whom he considers dangerous to his cause. I see bro. Phil as a minister of the gospel and as such he should be exempt (just like pastors and churches) since his profession falls in the same lines. His music touches my soul and all I can do is praise the Lord with him. No other music touches my soul as bro. Phil's. God bless you and your wife for your commitment to your calling. Let God tripple your income so you can be an example to the rest of us that the kingdom of God begins on earth. We don't need to wait for heaven to come down.
With love,
Krystyna

I really believe that Phil Driscoe did not steal from anyone. He came to Fayetteville, NC and did many great blessed performances at Covenant Love Church. I was truly blessed by his gift of music. Did not never beg or ask for money. He is truly a blessing. He does not deserve to go to any prison. I will keep him and his family in my prayers. Bro Driscoe is an honest man. Being famous I know money comes your way and it is to bad that there are crooks that get in your path and stab you in the back. But you cannot always recognize them. Again my heart goes out to you Phil Driscoe. I know the word says that God will not put no more on you than you can bare, don't give up. And I know you have learned from this experience. Love you and your family Catalina

As a fellow Christian and trumpeter, I have enjoyed brother Phil's music. I do not agree with his "prosperity gospel" and he needs to repent of it. Also we are to obey the laws of the land and if we are guilty then we must serve our time. But I keep him in my prayers for restoration. There but the grace of God go I!

CS you seem to be interested in subjectivism when you approach scripture, did you read half the article above or a few sentences and make your own conclusions. You need to read those verses in the context of the chapter, the book, and the rest of the Bible. What does the rest of the Bible have to say about wealth? Jesus seems to be quite adamant that it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a kneedle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of Heaven. Furthermore Paul in his first letter to Timothy gives strict instructions to those who have much wealth as to how they are to handle their money.

I think our treasure is in heaven stored with Christ where moth and rust cannot destroy them. Faith also is a gift from God as is Godliness with contentment, I am happy with what I have and I probably could do well to have a lot less. If God does want me to be rich to be a blessing to others then how much is enough before I can become that blessing? I think you are much mistaken in your views of the prosperity Gospel. Re-read those verses in context next time you open your Bible.

I urge a lot of you to open your Bibles and read the properly, if I read Revelation correctly and the other apocalyptic literature of the Bible God is going to make a new heavens and a new earth so heaven beginning here on earth is what I call Belinda Carlisle philosophy.

You need to read your Bible my friend. You are mistaken. What , do you think God wants us to be poor? I don't think so. Here are some verses for you to read.

Gen 2:28
Deut 8:18
Psalms 1:3,112:2-3
Eccl 10:19
Isaiah 1:19, 53:10
3 John 2
