Very insightful article, thank you. I had heard of this advert at a bible week a few weeks back but only now do I know of its full extent. It truly is ridiculous how Christianity is constantly attacked and snubbed but then again it's just another sign of the times. The Gay Pride parade is in Belfast this saturday but won't be faced with the roadblocks or rerouting that the orange order come up against even though it's offensive to both Christian and Catholic beliefs.

Furthermore- any legislation that seeks anything "beyond" freedom, (our freedom of choice, freedom of speech and the right to safety) - is defunct.
Sometimes people don't *feel* safe and sometimes life isn't safe, the law can only provide that people that really compromise freedom and safety are prosecuted. It cannot and should not legislate simply to make someone FEEL safe. It cannot enforce freedom, it can only preserve it. The government should remember that. "those who sacrifice freedom for temporary security - deserves neither freedom nor security"- Benjamin Franklin

First off of course this is extreme behaviour, and I think that some of the issues raised are the MOST difficult in our society let alone issues for Christians to deal with.
The bible does not *forbid* non christians from being Critical of Jesus, it only encourages you to make the choice not to do so. The muslim faith renders any non-muslim "unclean" and The Prophet is not to be represented in any form, happily Christ sets out no such terms. I think the Bible makes it so gloriously apparent that we need no legislation to defend our faith from attack. Faith is Faith. Glorious, no?

That advert is disgusting. Thank God that we don't have the Religious Hatred bill to fight against it though!
