I started listening to Jake about two years ago. I watch the Gaither's Homecoming video series just to see if Jake is going to sing or to catch a glimpse of him in the choir. I never had the oppurrtunity to see him in person or get to meet him, I really wish I had that oppurtunity. Natilie, I am also interested in your work.-Katrina

One of the greatest blessings of my love of Southern Gospel Music, was attending concerts that included Jake Hess, and getting to know him through Bill and Gloria Gaither's homecoming friends. The love of God could be seen in his attitude and heard in his voice. I'm sure this is why everyone loved him.

natalie, I would love to see the paper you are writing and read anything I can on this wonderful Christian gentleman. Since the newsletters have stopped we have lost all contacts except through his sister and Danny. We met you at the layout and understood that you would be going into music. Hope all is going great. - Eddie

I discovered him 8 years ago, but at that time I listened only "Nothin' but fine". I rediscovered him last year, and I had the chance to listen most of his masterpieces. Unfortunately, he has gone, and my regret is to not know him personally or at list attend one of his concerts. No one will be able to replace him in gospel music. He’s unique!

Natalie, I'm interested about your work.
