This girl was a real talent. I first saw her videos when I was on vacation in the 1980s. I was unfamiliar with her because the Christian radio in phila. played only the top charted artist. I thought she was great and going to make it big in Christian music. I think it comes down to not be given a great hit song that would have been a breakthrough record.Less talented people have made it because they had a great song. As far as Celebration is concerned it's a song that reminds me a little of Sing Your Praise to the Lord by Amy Grant released in 82. Tami did a great job singing this song Celebration. She can certainly sustain a note. Any perceived imperfection could have been drowned out by background harmonies or overdubbing, doubletracking etc.or just singing that part differently. As you notice when Amy sings her hit song she has help. I think this Album is definitely worth listening to. Jim
