My first 'Subway' experience was similar - made worse by being in an English speaking foreign country, and I only speak / understand English! On the subject of being 'finally diagnosed' I reminded of the book titled "Everybody's Normal Till You Get to Know Them", not read it but sense there is a lot of truth in the title. The trouble is there is no end to the 'being diagnosed'. In 2 Timothy 1:7 we read "For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline". Have to keep reminding myself of the words from the song "No Longer Slaves".
