Comment:	This was a great article and I really enjoyed reading this from your perspective. As you know I would not declare myself a Christian not religious however I do consider myself moral. I have long questioned the argument of assisted suicide (I will use your term for ease, plus is fits) Although I believe no-one should be made to suffer in pain for long periods of time I have to question whether it is right for us to decide when we step out of that pain. I remember a story of a young lad, late teens, early 20s who was a stunt man, during filming for a large and popular film He had an accident that ended with him being paralysed from the chest down (that may not be 100% but I know he would be in a wheelchair and requiring aid for the rest of his life). He begged to die, he begged to be taken somewhere so he could and it. He never was and so life continued. After a while he claimed he was so glad he didn't get the chance to end his life as he had so much to live for. Although I appreciate that this doesn't fully support an argument not too support this act, how do we know we are doing the right thing of we assist someone in death? How do we know that 6 months down the line they will fight to live. This will always be an emotive topic and I fear there is no right or wrong as such. I stand on the side of not allowing this but I have reasons for that. If we agree to help someone and their life does it mean it is also acceptable to take a life as punishment? Although that is another debate.
