Comment: Sadly she later admitted to an affair with current husband Don Peslis while on the Make His Praise Glorious Tour, which i always found kind of odd. He seemed rather effeminate and she just wasn't the type of woman to cheat on your wife with. It was kind of like "girl, did you just wanna be married to Sandi Patty??" Anyway, the irony really is that her most profound influence and most powerful songs, with the last being O Holy Night in 1995 were all pre-divorce. Not sure why, but to me that's how it panned out. When i am listening to her it is ALWAYS to a pre-1995 recording. The "it factor" was just not there after that.. And it's probably because she lost a lot of her people. I'm sure she found out about true loyalty by going through a divorce. For example, David Clydesdale never worked with her again and I think he was instrumental in writing and arranging some of her best songs. There was a perfect mix of talents there that ended with "O Holy Night" in 1995 which he so perfectly arranged for her.
