Comment:
One of my first theatre memories (I am now a theatre manager) is the musical Glory, presented at the Chelmsford Citadel, UK. I think I later saw Hosea at the same place. I think it significantly influenced my conception of musicals and influenced my subsequent composition (I've written a couple of community musicals). I've found an Australian recording of Glory recently, and was amazed by how much of it I remembered by heart, but not found a UK one yet.
