Comment:	Gornal was the centre of the known Christian universe in the 70s. On every corner a pub and a church. I remember Dave and his Saltmine org ,just up the road from where I live . Also remember the Filling station and bookshop in town . Truth beknown I guess Daves faithfulness touchéd a lot of lives, even many hes not aware of. I saw Chris Eaton at a youth meeting in Eve Lane when Mark Williamson was assistant Pastor. Just over the border in West Brom we were introduced to the delights of Paul Poulton.
