Comment:	So true, Paul. There's a line from a Jens Lekman song that goes, "You don't get over a broken heart. You just learn to carry it gracefully." Another song from the same album starts with the line "Every cell inside my body has been replaced since I last saw you, but the memory is in the DNA." I think they both say the same thing: that your past experiences become a part of you, like the carvings on that tree.
