Comment:	Saw the band Hawk perform at a resort early 70's. Years later in 1976/77, not exactly sure of the date, a group had a "show at our local church in Sasolburg. When I heard what the surname was, I immediately thought of the band Hawk, but could not remember the face all that well. He was with his wife, gave his testimony and then I knew for sure. Although he did not mention the band Hawk by name, I knew it had to be him. After a wonderful service, the congregation had tea in the hall and I approached him and introduced myself as well as the fact that I was at one of his earlier performances as Hawk. He was really so surprised, could not believe I recognised him. What a shock when I heard of him passing away. He was a wonderful servant of God and is sadly missed.
