Another cover version was by - of all people - Linda Ronstadt on the 'Hasten Down the Wind' album. There is one curious lyrical note in that 'How shall we sing the Lord's song in a strange land?' becomes 'How can we sing King Alpha's song in a strange land?' (Unless that is the Melodians' original, but it's too many years since I've heard that to remember!)
