I write these comments with sadness and do not criticize any one. We attended WGMF on at least 10 occasions for the whole weekend, making new friends and enjoying the blessings of Christian music. The music had a Country music base. Sadly that has changed. It is now going contemporary. It is not our scene. maybe we are wrong. I am sure the singers are talented and sincere, but it is difficult to justify 600 miles and £400 if the core music of the visit has changed. This is not the only venue we do not now attend. Butlins had a brilliant annual secular Country music weekend. That also went modern until numbers fell and that weekend ended. The Gaither reunions have now gone contemporary. We loved their older music. Sadly the Filey event has ceased, but I trust the Perth event starting 2013 will be a Blessing. The above comments have been shared with us by others without prompting. God Bless Y'all
