Comment:	This album is the first of two New Hope Singers albums released during the 1968-69 year. New Hope Singers were the full-time traveling ministry group of the Continental Singers, performing in schools, colleges, and churches. The other album, Bright New World was a secular album, also released on LIGHT. The New Hope Singers were auditioned from around the country and together were Contemporary Christian music pioneers, performing and recording a full five years before the genre caught on, except for Larry Norman. In 1969 the group split into two ensembles, New Hope and Renaissance. the first continuing in the same pattern the latter doing professional shows with major stars. Then from the fall of 1970-the summer of 1972 New Hope performed with remnaints of both groups and some new folks and recorded another album project while touring hundreds of thousands of miles a year. The group disbanded in the spring of 1972 and was revived as an all male group a couple years later, still an off-shoot of continental Singers.
