Comment:	This year marks 14 years since the loss of this great ccm singer/songwriter/musician. Another one that was too young to die. I got to see Rich open up for Amy Grant in the Spring of 1986; about the time of his first solo release. During Rich's last concert 6 months prior to his passing; he played the dulcimer: I really enjoyed the performance, he was soo talented! What a beautiful tribute in Rich's memory of his great song legacy "Awesome GOD" by ccm artists: great cd to have, superbly done! We have his music that lives on in the lives of us left here. Rich has met his Maker, the "Awesome GOD" he wrote and sang about. The songs of Rich still make impact today. I recall when a hurricane hit our area some years ago; ccm airwaves played the song "Verge of A Miracle". The song was sent as message of hope,and it was! We had very minimal damages: OUR GOD IS AN AWESOME GOD! Our loss is Heaven's gain; precious in the sight of the LORD, is the death of His saints. They are with Him forever! Hats off to ccm artist Amy Grant for recording his songs "Sing Your Praise to the LORD", "Doubly Good To You", "Hold Me JESUS" & the superbly recorded "Nothing is Beyond YOU": what a legacy of Rich's music that lives on. I am glad I got to see Rich in concert when he was here on earth.
