Comment:
I first heard Bessie Griffin in September or October 1953. I was ill and in the hospital in Memphis. My Mother brought a radio to keep me company. I heard Bessie sing "Too Close", and the song and her voice tore me up. I heard her on WDIA, but I had never heard her, or heard of her. She became my favorite woman gospel singer even untuil today. I wish that I could find that recording. I am now 74 years old. I was not able to find the single, or album that has been revised. Thank You
