Great thoughts Paul and nice analogy of the dog! Like you, I like Stephen Hawkins I also like Prof Brian Cox, and it makes me sad that these great minds cannot comprehend the Creator who gave it to them! Like you say mate, if the brain is just a computer then who designed it? I've never seen a computer created by random chance, or artrificial selection. Mind you, I've never known anything that's irreducibly complex evolve! Even the four parts of a mouse trap had to all be there at the start! how else would it catch a mouse if only one part existed? So, it had to be designed by a creator and then created! And how more complex are we and the universe in which we live!? See you soon, John W
