Comment:	I am so sadden to just read about the passing of Slim. That is what we called him here in Jackson, Mississippi. I was taking care of my husband Charlie during the time of his passing and had not heard. I, also, lost my Charlie on July 2008 after he suffered a stroke in 2000 and went home to be with the Lord. Whenever Slim and the Supreme Angels were in Mississippi, we always went to their performance and bought many old records and new cd's that will always be cherished memories that time cannot destroy nor years erase. Slim will always be a legendary in our thoughts and I do plan to do "Moments in Black History" on Slim at our church if the Lord's willing.
