Comment: This for me is a classic Petra record. The tone of the rock may not be anywhere near the pulse pounding of Unseen Power or On Fire, but the lyrical depth and probing and stirring riffs leave one very satisfied with this treasure of an album. If I Had To Die For Someone must rank as one of the most thought provoking tracks of Petra's long and wonderful career. And the urgency of A Matter of Time and Magnet of the World is something to be savoured wholly. And there are still the stalwart brilliant Pet ballads along the way. Falling Up features some brilliant vocals from John, backed up with seroiusly good production. And then theres the reflection of mistakes that we all at times have known within St Augustine's Pears. The pounding bass intro to God Fixation is seriously funky too. Petra continue on their road of musical exploration, and they keep on doing it brilliantly! This album is truly a winner in every respect.
